Folgefonna is located on the west coast of Norway, 2 hours east of Bergen, Norway. The northern location allows for long days (sun goes down at 11pm and comes back up at 3am.) It is Norway's third largest glacier and it is located in the Hardanger region, the heart of Norway's Fjord country.
